Handicap Ballot in place - Entries close at 12 noon on 26 July 2020 when preference will be given to the 60 competitors with the lowest handicap.
Competitors may have a practice round up to 7 days in advance of the competition and by prior arrangement at £10.
No refunds given after the closing date. The Club reserves the right to refuse entry.  Pace of play policy will be enforced.

The Cup was presented by John Hill (Past Club Captain and Past President of the EGU) in 1951.

This event has been re-scheduled from Sunday 3 May 2020 and will now be played on Sunday 9 August 2020.

Family 4BBB Open - Channel Course

18 hole 4 ball better ball stableford on the Channel Course.

Open to Men, Ladies and Juniors in any combination for family and step family members only e.g parent and child/husband and wife/brother and sister/grandparent and grandchild etc. 

No handicap limit - players with handicaps up to 54 are welcome to enter.

Entry Fee £60 per pair - visitors £30 per pair - members - includes one course meal (BBQ If weather permitting)

Raising awareness and funds for "Somewhere House" a charity providing individuals with treatment and support to those who wish to make changes to their lives after suffering addiction.  

Also raising funds for Children's Hospice South West - registered charity that provides palliative, respite, end of life and bereavement care for life-limited and terminally ill children and their families from the South West England region.

The tournament is played in two stages: First stage to consist of 54 holes of Foursomes Stableford. The 16 leading pairs with the best aggregate stableford scores in the first stage will progress through to the second stage (KO stage) which will be played as Foursomes Matchplay. If entries exceed 64 pairs, the leading 32 pairs with the best aggregate stableford points in the first stage will progress through to the second stage. Entries will be limited to a maximum of 120 pairs on a first come first served basis. Maximum Handicap Gentlemen 18 - Ladies 30 PGA Professionals 0, PGA Euro Pro (or equivalent) +3 and European Tour Pro +4 Closing date 11 October 2020 at 12 noon. There will be a 3rd place play off for the losing semi finalists on Sunday 7th February 2021. Full Terms and conditions are available upon request or see website.

50% Combined Handicap

The Trophy was originally called the Millfield Trophy and was presented to the Club in 1951 by RJO Meyer, the founder and first Headmaster of Millfield School. Silver replicas were given to the winners by Legassick for the first 10 years of the tournament.
