PRO SHOP NEWS - SEPTEMBER 2026
With the nights starting to draw in, the Summer golf season is coming to a close, especially as October is just around the corner. Congratulations to all the winners of the various events in 2026, however big or small they might be; any win is always worth celebrating! A good number of you are taking part in the Winter Foursomes that gets underway in a few days, so best of luck to you all, and it is always nice to get a Burnham & Berrow winner by the end of next February
For us in the Pro Shop, we are already well underway with our planning for 2027, and it is the time of year when we get calls from the Company Reps wanting us to stock their products in our Shop. We try to maintain a good range of products, but also try to introduce or sometimes re-introduce something different each year alongside the tried and tested favourites. A lot of companies will no doubt have some new equipment hitting the shop floor in the next few months, but they put it under embargoes now, so even if we have seen it, we can’t tell you about it or share pictures until said embargo lifts! We are lucky at Burnham as we often get offered the opportunity for a launch day or pre-release fitting day by companies for new products, so if we get anything booked in, we will be certain to let you know when this will be, but beware, these events always get booked up fast!
One area that has proved popular in the last couple of years is the introduction of the Members Logo. We are gradually growing this range so if you haven’t popped in to have a look in the far corner of the shop then make sure you do next time you are at the club to check out what we can offer. If there is something you think would be a good addition to this please let one of us know and we will look into whether we can add it in. The range of Burnham & Berrow headcovers have been really well received and especially now with the personalised etching service onto products we can provide.
Keep enjoying your golf!
David, Andrew and the Pro Shop team.
