Matt Pearson won the South Western Counties Boys Championships played at Tehidy Park GC in Cornwall.

Matt's total of 139 (68+71) was the only score under par and he was 5 shots ahead of second placed Harrison Greenberry, the current British Boys Champion. Although Harrison is also a member here at Burnham & Berrow, his home club is Exeter Golf & Country Club.

Somerset lost out to Devon in the team event, but with 5 of the 6 players still eligible for next year, Somerset's expectations will be high.
